The Quintessential 1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard "Burst"
This 1960 Burst has it all: MINT condition; beautiful Translucent Tangerine Color, rather than the "tomato soup" color
typical of most, but not all, late '60 Bursts; SUPER serious Flame Top; LIGHTWEIGHT 8.5lbs.; Great Playing Neck; and the BEST
SOUNDING Burst of the 9 I have owned over the years. It is a pity that, because of its condition and value, it can't be
played, gigged and enjoyed for its magnificent tone. Otherwise, this would be my PLAYER guitar for sure. The phrase "TONE
MONSTER" was coined for guitars like this.
I think it is safe to say this guitar is, without question, the FINEST 1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard in the world.
